JNC video recorder ,with bad capacitors.

Not even two years old, this JNC DVD recorder died, and was set aside, by my parents, I finally got time to check it, and it turns out it had two dead capacitors, and the unit is now fully working.

It even has SCARD in, and SVIDEO, I can finally do proper game play videos

JNC dvd recorder, that JNC told my parents could not be repaired because the model was discontinued, not only was it repairable but all it needed was two new capacitors and 15mins to diagnose and repair the unit...

Other interesting things worth mentioning:

It actually can record directly from scard so I will be testing that as soon as I get some scard cables for my consoles

It looks like it uses a IDE DVD Writer.

The Discs Are recorded in DVD_VR format ,normal Vob Mpeg 2 dvd like format Perfect for video editing

This is a untouched test of a few sample games I took.

Note: This has not been edited/ altered in any way and is directly taken from the DVD+RW that the JNC recorded to, it will look alot better once edited, and cropped to the correct size.

The Buzzing noise was from cheap AV cables its fixed now

Games:
Legend of Zelda Ocarina of time (N64) (AV)
Starfox/Lylat Wars 64 (N64) (AV)
Gran Turismo 1 (PSone) (AV)
Doom 1 (Sega Saturn) (RF)

Official site launch and Youtube relaunch today!!!

The Website:

I've finally got the website to the point where I am happy with it software wise, it is probably as bug free and secure as I can get it.

Extra security was implement on log-in and user registration, this seems to have stopped the bots dead, I am getting around 40 failed log-in attempts from bots a day, so its working properly.

There are some limitations due to the new host, for instant file uploads arent supported by the general public, this allso seems to effect avatar uploads, while I don't mind the file uploads, avatar uploads are a bit of a pain, but as a temporary fix, Ive uploaded a 100 avatars to choose from, so I hope everyone finds something they like.

Youtube:

With the site launching I am relaunching the youtube channel aswell, with lots of exciting videos lined up,I have about 9 different ones needing final editing and uploading, this will probably happen soon, I am aiming at getting 2 videos edited and uploaded a week, as well as the "Retro 90s' Computer" build getting fully documented.

Site Artwork:

I am desperately looking to commission some one to create a banner, a set of small site buttons, and maybe a HPZeta, youtube banner/background ,so if any one wants to do one please drop me a PM with some examples of your work as well as how much it will cost.

Note: it must not contain any copyrighted images edited or otherwise.

Introducing the worst Sega MD clone EVER!!!

This is the Seddaa ,its a Sega 16 on chip clone of the popular Sega megadrive, it lacks all the qualities that made the MD so great back in the day, Picture quality is terrible, Sound is buggy ,makes your ears bleed, and it probably wont last you 2 hours of gameplay, all for the shocking price of R150.
